Hope I'm not too late.
toooo much kick! it feels like there is way too much compression too, or bass I'm not really sure.. i can't kick the volume up at the moment.
Despite me saying that was my last mix, I'm still working on it.
I changed the kick drum sample on it, changed the guitar amp, and re-EQed everything. I'll have the new mix up soon.
Hey guys, i´ve posted one mix already, but this one is my final one. I didnt spend too much time on it, and noticed a little bit of clipping here and there, but nothing bad. Please give it some critique
All in all good musicians, but the songwriting IMO is a little "boring" and monotone, BUT kicks ass like it should!

Haha, I do this all the time! Damn final mixes.
I was headbanging the entire time.
Love the "hugeness" of the guitars.
Axe fx 2 for guitars, and metal foundry for drums
Sorry for bumping this back up, but anyone care to crit my mix? (Ignore the cymbal overlap at the start, an SSD 4 glitch and I cba to rebounce aha)
Very cool project, thanks for posting. Here is what I have so far.
Update using Despised Icon IR:
Mine! Just bought Lasse's kick samples and testing them out snare might be too loud.
Those drums sound really good, but the guitars are really lacking in body.
^^^ dude epic speedy reply man and thanks for the input! Guitars were Criminal head into God's Cab. Having a hard time finding out were the 'punch' is on these amp sims lol.
Either some mids on the amp head or some post-EQing in the 4-800hz range ought to nail that natural warmth. That's just an idea, though. Most sims definitely have trouble with that warmth.
my first version
Apprehension DWELLER STEMS MIX
I'll have a mess-around with it man thanks for the advice
Heres my go at it, I don't understand why my mix sounds much different everyone else. oh well. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/19917325/tryns.mp3 P.S. just realized i didn't add in the additional processed guitars.
Gave it a go for some fun. Super quick.
Thanks a lot for the files!
here's my go at it http://soundcloud.com/cameronharris/nsguitar-mix-1
Would love some advice. Thanks for the sweet tracks too!
EDIT: WHOOP! I hear that rouge snare at like 1:01.
