Idk I loved the debut album and The Nexus is a pretty good song, but I don't like Mechanical Illusion at all. Maybe I need to give it another listen...

I can't believe I'm defending Amaranthe, but you get your username from a band that literally recycles song arrangements and you're accusing other bands of having similar sounding tracks?

 

The new song sounds like an Amaranthe tune to me. This is good. I like Amaranthe. Will be buying the new album.

This song is by far a lot better than Nexus, and I'm sorry, The Nexus was exactly like a lot of songs on the previous album. What do you expect from a single?

Forgive me if I'm incorrect here, but isn't the sound of "The Nexus" maybe, possibly the Amaranthe signature sound?
Did you complain when Led Zeppelin House of The Holy came out and it sounded like Physical Graffitti?
When Fates Warning came out with Parallels and it was so very similar in style to Perfect Symmetry?

LOL; its amazing how one simple comment gets people up in arms. Who gives a shit; the song sounds just like Hunger; big deal. I didn't say I don't like it; I actually like the band and their sound. Just a simple assessment since the song sounds exactly the same to my ears. Thats all; move on.
