I think it's a really beautiful track...there's an mp3 of it somewhere?
There's a thread of it somewhere.
I have an mp3 of it from the Cologne show on the WotN dvd. Just rip the audio from that.
Btw it's just "Amon Amarth" adapted to strings.
send it to me firstname.lastname@example.org
Rip from the dvd?
Or not if you're lazy. It's a pain in the ass because I don't have it on the computer with the internet, but sometime in the distant future I may do it.
I ripped it from my WOTN DVD, I'll host it somewhere if I can...I can't remember the filesize so if it's bigger than I expected then I won't.
I would love that, too.
As far as I can make out, it's a song called Elk Hunt. It's on the soundtrack for the Last of the Mohicans movie and I think AA edited it a little.
Here it is on youtube.
Why rip the intro from WotN-DVD when you can listen to the song on the Bonus CD from the "Twilight of the Thunder God" ?? =) Great show, live at Summer Breeze '07, but the DVD is better of course
So, who is Amon Amarth's keyboarder? Wasn't Steve his name?
1- rip the "wrath of the norsemen" dvd
2- get the live bonus cd in twilight of the thundergod limited edition, the first track is the intro
By the way, it makes a really great ringtone and/or alarm clock sound.
LOL ELK HUNT SONG
Steve is AA's sound engineer he filled in for Bass when Ted was away. AA's keyboardist is Johan S, btw the song is just a direct take from the song Amon Amarth off OSFTGH
u mean Johann played arranged that intro? cuz i guess i heard somewhere that Fredrik played piano as a young boy
Yeah if you read Fred's Bio he mentions he used to play piano as a child
