  1. Just a heads up... In the next week or two we will be making some major upgrades to the site to bring the software and server fully up to date. While the upgrade happens the site will be offline for the day. There will be some quirkiness after the upgrade, but we'll get it all sorted out.

Will have to go to his one, especially since the last time they were going to go to Chicago, they cancelled due to not all band members being able to make it and then Steven Wilson cancelling the rest of the tour.

The Chicago date has tons of competition actually.....

    Saxon at Mojoes...
MidWest Metal Anthem out in the burbs... ( local metal fest)
Black metal fest at Cafe Lura

and in Indianapolis ...there is a huge metal fest with mostly death / black metal acts going on.

    Talk about a busy weekend.

^ but all of those shows are extremely lame in comparison (and will have grosser crowds) to this one so it's not a difficult choice at all!

I'd take a Saxon show over Alcest/Anathema any day.

How is a Saxon show lame? Of all the bands listed, I guarantee they're the best live act.

As will I. But I'm surprised they're playing a place the size of the Marquee...I wouldn't expect them to draw that big.
