Haha, Mariner, it seems like you hear a ressemblence of A Dying Wish in Alma Mater too (At least that is if you mean Alma Mater ofcourse, and not the song Wolfheart itself)

I wonder if it's coincidence that Moonspell's biggest classic and Anathema's biggest classic's main riffs sound a bit like each other

The first time I saw Anathema was when they played together with Moonspell.
We were just in time for the last song... a dying wish ... being dedicated to Moonspell. The resemblence between Alma Mater and a dying wish was the first thing I noticed too.
(can't even remember when it was ... to long ago)

No disrespect to Moonspell but they've never been high on my list of influences. I've never even heard any of their albums. A Dying Wish was written in 1994, when was the Moonspell classic written?

Strange enough. I heard that song when I was in Athens and it didnt sound that much like A Dying Wish anyway. What are the lyrics about anyway?

About his mother :guh: Weird lyrics....
Anyway, it's basically just the 2 main riffs that sound a bit like each other, at least, the first thing I thought when I heard Alma Mater the first time was "Dude! This is a Dying Wish rip-off!"d

Do you have a date in mind yet when the new album might be released?

I have a question too, Dunc...
Why your album "Saviour" is available both with The End Records and Prophecy productions - do they work together with the release?... it is kinda strange?

The plan is to record in January. I'm going to meet the studio manager tomorrow to try and book it. Then probably a Spring release.
