I've been trying to figure this out for a while but in a lot of chango style productions there is like an anvil hit type of sound. Like in this song around 9 seconds in. Where could I find a samples like this????

    Help would be much appreciated.

Just browse through a sample library one of your stock rtas/vst instrument has (in cubase Halion, in PT Xpand). Or search the web^
