I bet Ms. A has seen it...leak the pics damnit!
Here's the news I've heard on it (from Willie Gee):
Jeff himself actually doesn't know what it's going to be and Schecter is on his ass because they want it for the summer NAMM. The only thing I was let in on is that Jeff wants it to have a maple, red sunburst fretboard(?).
I hope I get to see it before it comes out!
Man...im so sitting on pins and needles for that thing!
I'm quite happy with just the vanilla Hellraiser. I have to say... I hope Jeff tells them to design the guitar so that the reach up to the 24th fret is more comfortable.
That, coupled with a tremolo of sorts would constitute my ideal metal guitar.
fixed bridge >>> tremolo
I've always preffered more options to less. That was the idea behind getting a 7 string in the first place. Tremolo gives more options, and I don't switch between tunings very often, so as far as I can see, it's more suited to my purposes.
My problem is that strings take so long to stretch on a 6, I don't even want to think about that 60 or 65 you're going to be putting down to B or Bb.
Ok, so Summer NAMM has come and gone.... any news??
I don't know Ms A, but in your sig, I question the quote "If sex played guitar, it would sound like Jeff Loomis" ??!
I always thought sex would sound like the solo in Faith No More's song Be Aggresive - sloppy and out of control with no attention paid to the surroundings (would normally be called 'wanking' but being in a song about blowjobs it fits).
Well looks like Schecter's announced the new summer models and there's no Jeff guitar to be seen.... oh well!
Oh God, no... then they wouldn't have room for four different A7X models! Silly Brooks!
$1,500 easy, probably more
1500 dollars for a Korean pos? no thanks!!!
your paying for the name
