Just as the title reads... is there any news on the Kalmah front? Has been quite quiet lately.

Well I just saw they are doing a warm-up show in Oulu and then going on another Canadian tour so it will be some time before new material surfaces.

Possibility of recording an upcoming gig? Even just a song to post online and promote the band? One downside with Kalmah is they don't have any live material floating around of decent quality.

Have you checked out the live videos they posted from the Metalcamp gig? Those are pretty damn good quality.

Yes, they were. I actually went and looked right after I posted that. Quite good but I would like to see more. :D

Just ordered Kalmah's 12 Gauge on vinyl. It is sitting at Posti and will be picking it up on the way to work.

I agree! I would like to see some live footage of their really old gigs. I recall reading an interview where one of them said that they had recorded all of their gigs up until that point. I would love to see some old "obscure" songs live!
