Yeah, I am going to the Philly one. Does anyone know what it's like live... if it's like a regular metal concert with a bunch of kids, or like more conserved, with some old people thrown in?
I have tickets for this. Headlining is....Metallica. I haven't seen Metallica since 1986 (was it 6?) when they opened for Ozzy on their Master of Puppets tour. I probably would not have considered going, but my son would like to see Metallica. He likes their old stuff, and hopefully they will play some of it.
I really enjoyed seeing Apocalyptica live, when they did a gig in Beirut, Lebanon. They did a fantastic job.
I saw them opening a Megadeth's gig, about two years ago. They've played a 50 minutes set, and it was very interesting. What also called my attention was the drummer, very good. They played a few Metallica songs, and a lot of their own songs, everybody seemed to be enjoying their set. I would easily check their show again, if they return to Sao Paulo.
Just saw them at the Chicago show, they were really kickass but the crowd was lame as hell, just stood there clapping hands in unison and doing the emo hop. There was a small moshpit for 1 song, but nothing too big.
Apocalyptica is great band. I went to many of their shows. It's always great fun. I now prefer their own work although they seem to be less heavy than before. But maybe it's me who's more into death and black metal these days...
nah, i am seriously new to the area. i used to live here like 8 years ago. i just moved to littelton a couple blocks off broadway.
I am filled with deep feelings of whatever. Not that it matters. The paradise is about 10 minutes on foot from my house, but it's 18+.
