    yea when is my favorite opeth song, i just wanted to cut against the grain...but that riff owns thats why Æ got my pick

    1 vote for april ethereal. Simply because it was the one I heard first and it brings back good memories :)

    When is not a bad song at all. Love it. It just doesn't have the same meaning to me as april ethereal has.

    April Ethreal easily. I don't understand this sense of awesomeness people have towards When. Sure its a good song, but it is only that. Just a good song.

    I voted for April Ethereal, but that's actually my least favorite part of the song. The part following it at 6:45 is great, but the prior part just doesn't seem to fit the rest of the song to me.

    True. It's probably just me who can't see what the fuss is about with When. I guess some songs just suit some people better...

    I like AE, I really do, but when I get to about 1:25 into When my vote is cast. It really sets the mood for the rest of the song. And although AE has a kickass outro, When is better as a whole song IMO.
