If you have one it's basically a guarantee you'll meet the band.

Ive been speaking to people about this and I would advise that you make your way to oxford st for about 3pm at the LATEST. if theres no one queueing then you can go shopping or sight seeing or whatever for a bit...but at least you'll be in the general area.

IF there's noone queueing?????? There'll be people there at like 11am I'd say.

I'm getting to London for 12/1 to grab something to eat and then maybe queue then, depending on how many people are there at that time.

that's a great idea... i'll just take quick look on what is going on probably at the same time, how many people are there queueing and etc., and then decide what i'm going to do next... probably i'll be there as i said, around 3...

how many people usually show up to this signing sessions? i've never been to one, so just curious... i know it depends on the bend, but approximately...

well this is exactly what i am saying. 3pm at the very LATEST and that will prob ensure you will get a wristband if nothing else...

i'd say its a good idea to get there for 1pm-1.30pm onwards and just hang around the area and keep an eye on the place. you dont want to be standing in a queue for hours if you dont have to. so get there early, queue if you have to.....and if not, you can go in a few shops or whatever and keep an eye on zavvi
    :)

i spoke to the manager and the wrist bands will be given out if it exceeds 400.....my response was "i think you are gonna be giving out wristbands then, i think it will exceed WAY more than 400"....

and she was just like "oh i dont know....normally we think its gonna be busy, but its never as busy as people expect...."

and i was like "ummm....i think you are wrong this time! " lol

    ;)

It'll definately exceed 400..think of all the Bodom fans that are going to be around for the gig, most people are going to jump at the chance to meet the band.

Yeah,I know but if I was going to a concert purely based on how much I love the support acts and I knew the headliners were doing a signing, regardless of whether or not I was into them I'd still try to get an autograph just because.
So I'd definately be standing in queue at about one anyway, bit earlier or later depending on how many fans I can see queueing or just hanging around the general area. This is coming from someone who has been more than willing to wait outside a concert venue from 8.00 am till the doors opened at 6.30 though so I'm maybe being a bit cautious here. If it was me, I'd get there as early as possible just to be near the top of the queue so I could get my autographs and get back as fast as possible to get a nice spot in the queue for the actual concert.
If you're making a long journey just to see the bands playing,I wouldn't waste my time sightseeing so much,it would be nice but prioritising your wants is more important.

^ yeah, well i'll see what i'm going to do... because i'm going alone to that gig and the signing session so i'll think about how early will i be there... for the gig i'll give an hour, hour and a half tops before it starts...
as for the sightseeing, if you where referring to me, i've seen london enough already...  but thanks for the tip...

You guys are saying if it exceeds 400 etc but think about the time limit. 4-6pm. 2 hours isn't a long time, considering one person isn't done until they've seen, spoken to, and had their CD signed by each member of the band. Slow walking, chatting/asking questions, shaking hands & taking photos etc will make it drag.

Unless they have bouncers that give each person a certain time limit for the whole lot.

ok so would queuing around 1 guarantee a wristband? there'd be nothing worse than going over there and not actually getting to meet them.
