Are they insanely progressive, or just purely brutal?

    I'm hoping they are both.

    Satori:

In fact I was just listening to them today in complete awe (again). They are rooted in death metal, but only through the vocals and the guitar sound. On the album which I have ("Unquestionable Presence") they are completely led by both the bassist and the drummer, who go completely nuts...very often the music is closer to fusion than any kind of metal. The busiest rhythm section I know of. I don't think there is one single straightforward rhythm on the album. What's even better, these guys know how to play groovy, not just showing how many different time signatures they can think of. "Mother Man" and the title track are both lethal, if you want to search for MP3's...
