is the production on that album suppose to sound bad or is there something wrong with my copy/equipment?
Here we go ColdWorld Darkspace Dolorian I Shalt Become Marblebog Njiqahdda Spektr Vinterriket Vuotare Walknut Arckanum Blut Aus Nord Ildjarn (Landscapes and Hardangervidda) Nocternity The Ruins of Beverast Verdunkeln
You could easily have the tape rip. The CD version is lo-fi, but quite listenable in my opinion. That is assuming that you don't own the CD.
....lo fi? mine is quite listenable as well, just seems like one of those black metal releases where they purposely have bad production.
nae'blis - beyond the light and also "Kristall & Isa" by paysage d'hiver is pretty cool. trance inducing and hypnotic bm that i find a lot more interesting then darkspace. and "Mortualia" by Mortualia
I can hear everything very easily. It was deliberately made to sound raw and cacophonous so that you have to listen more closely. Then you can hear the little details like underlying melodies, violins and choirs because you're listening so intently.
Trist (Ger) - Hin/Fort just came to mind. There's a review on M-A that mirrors my thoughts on it pretty closely. Leviathan - A Silhouette In Splinters is great ambient, and now that it's on CD, there's no reason not to get it.
Try Chaos Moon, Sombre Presage Try Land of the troll by Behexen - its the BEST EPIC BM SONG ___EVER___
