Andy, is that at THE PEARL ROOM in Mokena IL.? If so, my band BLOODSTREAM PARADE opened for you at that show. It was a killer night, you guys sounded great. www.myspace.com/bloodstreamparade
we made on in our last metal band (vx) god it was awful. we locked ourselves into a shed for around 3 hours with 8 cans of spray paint and a big ass moldy bed sheet - it looked fucking awful but it got us high as a kite!
http://www.jakprints.com/banner-printing/ I've had no problems printing banners with them, they do everything digitally. but for ink it was a headache getting everything to their print specs. speaking of that, we need new tshirts soon... oh boy...
It's actually been made. I dont remember the company but you can buy posters that cover your whole wall so it looks like you have a stack of amps. I beleive they made marshall ones with amp head and 2 cabs, repeated side by side.
just as a by the by, doesn't always happen, but some venues get very pissy about what banners are made from and whether they are fireproof or not. something to keep in mind
Because everything else onstage is fireproof, including the moldy rug on the drum riser, better not have a weak link there with your banners...
The one in the back (4x3 m I think): 250 , 7 years ago I don't know what is made of but is the highest quality and most expensive. We did it in a local store. For another band I'm in we've done some smaller 3x2 metres and it was 150 . This summer some son of a bitch stole one of these, I hope he introduced it in his ass and died impaled. I like those scrims, must get a pair soon!
Not only I don't have them but mainly because I won't show them unless I'm endorsed. Even in the music vids, we take all brands out from speakers too. I don't give a sht about brands and the status they seem to involve. No promo for free!!!!!! Great idea dude!
yea it's funny how venues get antsy about shit after dumbass bands burn down buildings and kill 100 people...
Yeah when I need merch and other stuff for my true metal bands the first thing I do is ring the company and ask them if its actual true metal heads working there, maybe pop a quiz question or two to make sure they are legit. Dont want any posers working with my fabric ! .. wait what ?
Just for european people : http://www.azur-scenic.com On of the better builder in this domain. http://www.pantherprint.org Still not work with them, but I heared they are serious.
