Hmm Arch Enemy? They add keyboard and It may ressemble.
There's some Japanese metal that's quite similar
Dark Tranquility as well maybe?
I found a band in myspace which has some bodom influences.
Check it out: http://www.myspace.com/whisperedband
try out Catamenia, I think you'll like them
omg, I like that Whispered/Zealot band nice stuff
I especially like the Wrath of Heaven. Good band!!
True! I'd like to hear their 1st demo (Zealot - Bloodthroned) but I can't find it anywhere
It's really hard to compare any of those bands after you've listened to all of them... although I started listening to Wintersun Norther and Kalmah because they were supposed to sound like COB (According to the internets)
If I had to pick one band (Of the three) that sounded the most like COB... I'd say Norther
^ OLD Norther, not the newer stuff imho.
^ True, I should have pointed that out
I think there's no other band like COB, that's why I think there should (and will) be a label called bodom-metal. But you can find bands influenced by them (or rather attempts of copying), and some resembling elements like for example this song by a Japanese band Serpent: http://homepage3.nifty.com/soundholic/MP3/serpent-cradle.mp3
I really want some bands that try to mimic COB in every way possible. They wouldn't do it as well, but it'd still be something.
Oh, and to the guy said " too many".. list some or eat some shit!
Whoever said Norther is smart though. Norther rocks..
just a little
Ther's a band from India called Acrid semblance....they're pretty good...have some cob influences. http://www.acridsemblance.com
pretty much nothing but melodic death/black metal bands here. Where the fuck are the all Neo-classical metal suggestions?(without clean vocals.)
heeeey it sounds nice. I'll check it
I know them. Nicebut nothing special for me
I think bands like COB are many. I think, Trivium can be similar to COB.
