I'm guilty of having this as a collector. But since the journey thing was thrown out there i had to show another reason joey is so metal.

I really don't get the whole thing for Spitz. He was ok back then, now he's just this sort of crazy religious dude who's still an ok guitar player... but he really doesn't have any chemistry with the band anymore. Not that Rob seems amazingly crazy about this whole thing either, but Dan is just sort of nuts.

(holy shit, my first post here since forever! *gasp*)

Spitz was at least unique with his style. He may not have been great from a technical point of view but he was good. And when he played a cover he at least tried to do it the original way yet added his own "flair" to it. Rob on the other hand can't play a solo the way it was intended, he likes to ad lib and when he does it doesn't make sense within the structure of the song. Sometimes it just sounds like he is playing another song's solo

i think Spitz was underrated back then, don't know if he's still good.
