I hadn't been following that thread. As for his career at NC, couldn't comment. I don't follow college ball.

Well, because NAD told me that the new Agalloch RULES, I checked it out.

    ...It's terrible.

Ken, you need to sip the kool-aid, not down it in one shot.

I'm not a fan of pink lemonade.

    180° shift.

So I thought this disc was beginning to grow on me. But it turns out, it's not. In the end, it's just too disjointed. Obviously, there are parts I like. However, it just doesn't measure up to the band's three previous full-lengths.

hahah, this disc is like some temperamental chick that you like but not sure what to make of her. seems to have the RC up in arms.

so, has Ghost – Opus Eponymous been discussed?

I didn't listen to much new stuff from this year. I'm not even sure if I've heard 20 albums but these were the ones that stood out.

Stargazer - A Great Work Of Ages / A Work Of Great Ages
Inquisition - Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm
    Deathspell Omega - Paracletus
    Burzum - Belus
    Ares Kingdom - Incendiary
Profanatica - Disgusting Blasphemies Against God
Hooded Menace - Never Cross the Dead
