While Thundergod is like an effeminate flaming homosexual, Oden is like one of those homosexuals where you can't really tell if they're the bitch or butch in the relationship.

ToTTG is sick. With Oden is also quite good.

Amon Amarth remind me of Bolt Thrower: they're really damn consistent. I like everything I've heard by them (which is only those two and Versus the World tbh).

Why? I think he's heard enough to make that judgment.

He hasn't heard the first three albums, nor Fates of Norns which is a sore thumb of inconsistency.

He needs to hear OSFTGH and The Crusher. He can fore go listening to Fate of Norns as that album is gay

seeing as I listed which albums I'd listened to in the post, I figured it was pretty evident that my "claim" only included the stuff I'd heard. More of a personal reaction than some definitive statement, obviously

Sorry if the phrasing bothered you

It'd be one thing if you heard an example from their early, middle and late career, and then call them consistent. But if you only mean it because you enjoyed it all, then I can accept that.

I've heard some live material, but yeah, I'm not claiming to have a representative knowledge of their whole career.
