I'm a little over halfway through this album and I feel like I've just had the shit beat out of me in a good way :) Balls to the walls but its not fatiguing on the ears at all, amazing balance and great tone all around.

Amazing album from BTM and mixed by the lovely Charles J Wall

Do yourself a favor and go buy this album.....now :)

    Cheers

Wow just checked it out, the mix is great and this band is kickass

But those guitar tones are especially awesome. What kind of amps did you use on this one?

I always find 5150's have a bit too much crunch for my liking, but they sound great here. Good job guys :worship:

84' ProCo Rat and a load of processing..... =D EQ, filtering, lots of serial compression.... more compression. more eq, some 'color' plug-ins, etc.... i may have even ran it through our 163. idk. =D

as per my usual, i honestly don't remember what I did but I never realized how sick the bass sounded until I started hearing comments about it. I thought it may be TOO MUCH or TOO different...

glad I went with my gut =D

On the first couple of listens, I didn't catch the bass tone because I was pretty much focusing on ridiculous the vocals were. Aaron is a god damn monster.

But then, I noticed the bass. Now I can't un-notice it. Hahaha. Very awesome. \m/
