Let me ask you guys this: which do you think is the best Dark Funeral album? Let's see if we can reach some kind of consensus here.

I think I've heard the first four. They're all okay I guess but pretty boring. I like the final track on one of them.

I like the first 3; but SOTBA is my fave. Was among the first few black metal albums I got into.

Only one I care for is Attera Totus Sanctus.

Also that Macabre Omen album Schmidt posted fucking rules. Goddamn.

I skimmed the ones I have the other day looking for the song I like (which turned out to be 'Final Ritual' from Attera Totus Sanctus).

I'd go with one of the first two being the best. All sounded very samey though.

The first few Dark Fortress albums do that style of BM way better.

Probably their third album. They're a decent band, but nothing to write home about.

Fallen Angel of Doom is being reissued on cd and vinyl

i'm also eagerly awaiting the cd pressing of Ominous Resurrection's first full-length. i saw this band open for Vomitor and Negative Plane a few years ago and the demo sold out before i could get one.

    Opinions on Judas Iscariot?

I thought they were a bit over rated last time I listened to em, but its been recommended to me a lot recently. What should I check out first? Heaven in Flames?

Akhenaten is from the town I currently live in. Probably the only good thing to come out of Dekalb musically.

Also, I've never listened to them.
