I'm still missing a lot of DSO material. I never checked their first two albums or their Manifestations cds.

I'm familar with VVorld VVithout End and Fourth Reich by Katharsis and they're both good. I need to look into 666. How is it compared to these 2?

Only heard it once but from what I recall it was awesome and fit in with their other material well.

More raw and primitive, shorter songs, not as epic, not as great production, not as great song writing. Very mediocre compared to the two master pieces you mention.

Yeah I don't know about that one. Interesting vocals, to say the least.

It definitely has a divisive sound, which is why I posted it. I took a chance on the tape and I'm not exactly disappointed.

I posted here before asking for black metal bands with heavy/trad mixed in. A couple people recommended the Chilean band Bewitched and they're great! Anyone have anything else like that?

Also, check out the early albums by Varathron, Rotting Christ, and Necromantia.

    Seconded. The Principal Extinction rules.

Faustcoven is probably worth mentioning too:

Surprisingly I'm not big on Rotting Christ yet. Convince me.
