OK, so...do so? Or...don't?
I plan to. Also wanna check out Krieg. Haven't heard them yet.
It's not much to hear. Check out some other band instead.
No, Krieg has some done some good stuff. The Black House and Blue Miasma are solid '00s black metal. I'm still behind on the earlier material.
so, like, not like TWWTG at all then
'ultima thulee' is pretty much the best french bm album, totally brilliant
I agree, to me it's miles ahead of TWWTG, but they are different entities. In terms of the black metal I like, Ultima Thulee ticks all the desirable boxes. Divine Torture, you should really check out Taake asap, there's some samples on the official gayspace page: http://www.myspace.com/taakeofficial
Pfft. March to the Black Holocaust and Vampires of Black Imperial Blood > *! :>
So I finally listened to the new Mgla and it's fairly good black metal. The new Brocken Moon is also worth it, it uses more powerful melodies which appeals to me a lot in blackmetal, they just have to be fully connected to the atmosphere as whole.
I really want to start listening to more Black Metal. What do you guys recommend? I've already heard:
Blut Aus Nord
Negura Bunget (ROM)
Hate Forest (UKN)
Wolves in the Throneroom (US)
Lunar Aurora (GER)
A nice worldly mixture there. These are the current black metal bands that are kicking my ass'.
Thanks for that. I'll check them out.
Keep Of Kalessin
Darkestrah are from Kyrgyzstan, not Germany
i heard they moved to germany though
More convenient for their lead guitarist, Anti.
Anti from Anti?
EDIT: It's ok I looked it up. I didn't know he played in Darkestrah.
Le Dernier Pardon imo
Keep of Kalessin is not really the best rec for a person who wants to get into black metal, tbh.
