Play this song live, and kinda re-arrange it so it flows like a flowing flow of flows.

IMO the song is perfect the way it is. Would LOVE to hear this one live.
I think the biggest problem people have with it sounding "disjointed" is because of the effect that can be heard in the very beginning and that is used in some interludes but I like it a lot.

When I think of it, the only word that comes to my mind is repetitive. Seriously, that song is really nice, but so damn repetitive.

Seriously, it's not. Lots of stuff is changing all the time, I think.

Actually, I was just listening to it this morning, and it does repeat a lot, but it never gets old to me. The 'rise to submission' section hands me my ass every time it comes back around. Like Wander said, little stuff is changing a lot, and the placement of each section is what makes it work so well. I never feel like they repeated anything just for the sake of repeating it - it always sound like it's what the song is supposed to be doing. Love it.

    This is all approx

Total lenght : 9:30 (cutting the reversed part)

Third Riff (accoustic) : 2:05 in 5 different places
Rise to Submission Riff : 1:20 in 4 different places

The rest isn't so repetitive so I won't include it.
More than 1/3 of the song is repeting riffs.

    Still I love this song.

Didn't you just ask "Where do I come from?"

Sorry, I'm just joking around... Too tired, you know?

But we agree that "by the pain..." is a nice song. That is all.

I mean... is it because I just suck sometime in English or there is a particular/racist reason?

(Racist isn't the good word I know)

    And umm.. yeah great song.

Uhhh... I can only assume your English is failing you here. 'I see where you are coming from' just means 'I understand what you mean'.

Haha, no worries, man. I remember how excited I was to learn the simple Swedish expression 'det spelar inga roll', because it means 'it doesn't matter', but literally means 'it plays no role'. \m/

I'm not too much of a fan of the song, although the first 2 riffs are sick, It is my least favourite off of Deliverance.
