Chango and Suturgis tone! Please critique!

    Here's my attempt at a super compressed Chango studio sound with joeys cymbals!

    nice work dude, not a huge fan of chango samples in general but sounds good.

    Any chance you could post stems?

    Not bad by any means. I'm not a fan of those drum samples either, they sound pretty unnatural on their own and the guitars are lacking in body. Instead of using his drum samples, maybe try to approach that sound with other samples or what have you.

    Its called Halion, its an instrument that comes with cubase.
    I also changed the link the mix is more updated and the songs longer.

    I agree with the guitars needing either more body or volume, but everything else sounds really nice! What mic/pre did you use to track the vocals? Any pitch correction?
