Mercenary is playing PPVII. They also played PPIV, but I really couldn't get into them. They had too much of the death metal vocals going on. Some of friends told me to revisit them on their newest release "11 Dreams" released Aug 2004. I sort of forgot about giving them another listen until now. The title track and one other song is available on the Prog Power USA website. In fact there are many cool mp3s there. However, that particular song is on a different level. Check this out guys out guys and gals.... Great blend of melody and aggression here.

Never heard of the band before, checked upon Bryant advice ;) and it's pretty powerful and heavy. Still nothing that makes me drool, but checking them live at PP may change my opinion.
