That was pretty fucking awesome.
The midsection and solo.
First time I ever see someone else have that exact guitar. I bought one in 2011 but sold it in exchange for a Jackson SL2H 2014.
Nice guitar but a little too thin neck for me. Good cover.
This is the first time you've posted some nice covers! What happend?
That Morrigan cover is pretty good but since I've watched MrMans cover, any other cover of that song will be worse.
I'm having an earection.
The Morrigan cover was really nice, but you can't really hear the guitars on the Mask of Sanity one :/ Sad for that dude seemed to know how to play.
Some students have posted their shit. His many...
dafuq did i just see...
The guitarist on the left actually looks kinda convincing occasionally. The guy that plays the broom seems to have the wrist movements down surprisingly well.
I watched the whole thing eating nuts, 1:20 - 1:30 is best part, he couldn't have timed it better, was very professional.
Problem with most covers is the raise the volume of the original too much. I want to hear as much of the guy playing as possible and as little as necessary from the source.
^ Here is the worst possible example!
Technically good cover but there's emotion missing from the playing.
LOL, yeah, can't even tell it's a cover. Loud volume and an identical guitar sound, that doesn't work. It's perfectly fine to have a sound that's different from COBs, as long as it's good. It kills me when talented kids on guitar aim to sound exactly like so and so. Develop your own damn sound.
What the fuck is the point, I can't hear him play at all. Just trying to show off?
Yeah, that sounds pretty much like the studio version with the drums perhaps mixed a tiny bit louder. Personally I like covers where I can actually hear the instrument being covered. I don't really watch cover videos for the music, I mostly do it to better hear what individual instruments are doing in the song.
