It could probably pull in a bigger crowd.
More than 100,000 people? Geez that's a tough call, not many can do that.
Do you think that's a backdrop? Or painted on the wall? Wicked sweet whatever it is.
Yeah good question!
Going by the left hand edge it looks like a backdrop of some kind because the black edge isn't straight and looks material.
This is pretty good thirty years on with a new animated video of Ozz and Lem taking on aliens.
I'll check this out in a bit
Not sure I remember seeing all these clips of "before they were famous"
(spoiler tags used to stop the page loads from slowing things down)
Jeff Loomis in 1991, 3 years after MegaDave told him he was too young to be in Megadeth
Cliff With Agents Of Misfortune 1979-81, I remember seeing this or videos similar.
Zakk Wylde in High School, before the terrible video of him and Sebastian Bach as a wedding band that did the rounds a few years back.
Dimebag in 84
Not joining Megadeth probably saved his life.
I’ve seen the Cliff one but not the others. Didn’t remember Zakk was in that wedding band.
Yeah simply being 16 in that highly toxic environment would not have been good. But I also couldn't see Jeff fitting in with Mustaine, they might we be friends now but I don't think that would have been the case if he'd been in the band 30 odd years ago.
There is a few version of this, I think it popped up when Sebbie was bitching and moaning about SR not listening to him and how he'd bury the hatchet for the sake of the fans.
Well, to be fair. No one fit in with Mustaine. Ever.
Lol! And Lol!
Yeah that's true. Apparently Mustaine told him he was going to be a great player and in demand (or something like that) so Mustiane recognised his talent. Thankfully he also recognised how toxic the situation would have been for a 16 yr old.
Yeah for sure. Just knowing that Jeff got himself into a pretty bad way with alcohol in Nevermore years later. Being around a bunch of addicts at 16 could have easily ended up a tragedy.
Well you'd have to say that none of the band at time would have been in any fit state to save him if something happened while high. They couldn't save themselves, and in most cases didn't until years after.
Imagine Jeff sitting back now thinking "what could my life have been? Well I could have been dead, or I could have been alive with Mustaine talking about me as if I was dead!"
Someone better tell Vic that the ghost of metal past is standing beside him!
I would like to see Vic down that deer though.
It would have been awesome if he'd joined after Chris though!
