St. Anger is my 2nd favorite Metallica album is my most contraversal musical opinion.

    I also hate Death

I hate the new Katatonia a lot it's one of my least favoite metal albums to come out from a band I really love.

I like a few Britney Spears songs.

The last two Burzum albums are pretty decent.

Last but probably least, I hate Suffocation!

Interpol sounds nothing like joy division on music terms maybe a little on vocals but still paul banks owns ian curtis.

No joy division does not really give an atmosphere, good band though.

Thank you for being so very positive.

I am actually not at all a fan of suffo's 1st 2 albums, it's ruined by shitty production and shitty vocals. Everything after that is very good though

all of immolation is excellent with the exception of production issues on a couple of albums

The vocals on early suffocation are great. The production on souls to deny is anyyoing with a deep bass trop coming in and out...good album though.

    Heres mine.....

(old) - Metallica, Pantera and Slayer are all overrated bands. There were plenty of better musicians out there than these 3 at their peek.

Mayhem is just boring. Nuff said.

Dragonforce is, well....do I really have to say it?

melo death > brutal death (you gotta be retarded if you don't agree)

    errmm....what else?....

The female vocalist from Rain Fell Within (her name escapes me) is better than any other girl I've heard so far.

Rotting Christ's A Dead Poem is their best release.

I'm inclined to agree with this. I think they expended all their creative energy on the debut albums and could not top them.

The best song Chuck Schuldiner ever wrote was... Legions Of Doom.

Opeth, Allagoch and similar effeminate pap make a mockery of metal.

Suicidal black metal is a more laughable concept than unblack metal.

The overall quality of music has been in a frightening decline since the early 1900s.

Is there any point to this thread beyond encouraging mindless flaming? (rhetorical question )

    1. You're an idiot for even thinking of that generalization.

    2. No genre of music is great, its all a matter of opinion. Its art for fucks sakes.

    3. No there isn't, unless you changed your sound to attract more peeps. Like...um...IN FLAMES!!!

    What...the fuck?

I'm pretty open to adverse opinions, but this absolutely implausible.

wait, all metal has to be furious/angry or it is a "mockery" of metal? :erk: Both agalloch and opeth are excellent bands

    I'd say since the 1980s/90s

you had jazz and then prog rock dominate alot of mainstream in 30-70s/80s

I think humanity itself is frightenly declining. Especially the U.S. ~ or maybe this world has always been this way.
