    metalcore sucks.
    bands like suicide silence suck.
black metal is awesome even if its totally absurd. the fact that they kill each other makes it cooler. \m/
    morbid angel is still good.

Their energy live is fucking colossal. Especially when they wail on songs like Intentional Manslaughter, Praise The Lord, Killing on Andrenaline, and Skull Fucked. They were one of the first metal bands I got into, so they hold a special spot in my music collection.

    However,

    1) Kevin Talley > Trey Williams.

    2) The real Dying Fetus died when Talley and Netherton left. They have produced some solid material after like their newest release, Reign Supreme, but that shit cant touch Killing on Adrenaline or Destroy The Opposition.

Arghoslent, Hypocrisy, and Intestine Baalism are fantastic melodic death.

I tried to tell people this on last.fm but thousands of In Flames fans jumped on me and I said fuck it. But yeah, not the same thing obviously.

What's a good Arghoslent to check out. I've never heard the band.

I've always liked 'The Grenadier' but none of their songs have really grabbed me. Probably because there's this one galloping trad/power part that kind of reminds me of Adramelch.

Galloping through the Battle Ruins is excellent but also check Incorrigible Bigotry. The riffage is too damn awesome to be ignored. If you like some epicness in your death metal, you might also like Hornets of the Pogrom.

Incorrigible and Hornets are a pair of fucking diesel albums. Like, nearly flawless for what they are.
