    I know they are way two different bands but listen to the beginnings of both songs and tell me they don't sound as if DT was kinda biting.

    Ha ha that sounds a bit cradle of filthish doesn't it? I doubt they did anything like that on purpose though. Just a similar motif.

    Side note- How fucking good was damnation and a day? My favorite Cradle record.

    If that didn't convince you, skip to 13:52 of the DT song and tell me they weren't just a little influenced.....lol

    But it's all just sort of horror movie soundtrack influenced isn't it? I mean, they both found parallel minors and the choir sound on the keyboard but neither is particularly original.

    Damnation And A Day (CoF) was actually recorded with the forty-piece Budapest Film Orchestra and thirty-two-piece Budapest Film Choir. ;)
