Yeah I have their first album "Draugsrunor", haven't listened to it in ages, but I remember it being pretty good.
Tarja and Mikael are almost complete opposites - operatic and shrill vs. folksy and warm. But maybe that's what you were going for? It would be very interesting musically, but I don't think these people would be able to stand each other - you can't just mix a bunch of Swedes and Finns and expect them to get along (or have things changed since the last time I heard?).
They are probably the closest thing to Folk Drone I can think of. Although they aren't drone. Funeral Folk Doom
