Hey guys,i'm searching for creative and unique bands, you know, bands who really got a vision and who kick stereotypes in the ass. I can't stand shitty bland music,so i listen just to few but very good bands

    Ex. : Tool
    Faith No More
    A Perfect Circle
    Tomahawk
    Primus
    Helmet
    Devin Townsend

The only band that i really dig lately would be Gojira. They kick ass. Also March Hare is one of my latest discoveries (thx to this forum) and the album will be a must-buy

Any suggestions ? Thanks guys :kickass:

I probably should've posted that Geist video here, actually.

Check out Thought Industry's first two albums. The debut is very quirky thrash (Metallica + Helmet + Faith No More gives a rough idea), and the follow-up is violent and progressive alternative/groove goodness.

You'll either love them or devote the rest of your life to staying at least 100 miles away from them. Try "S.U.i.Z.i.D" and get some genuinely unique dark music down your throat. It'll put hairs on your chest my son.

    Unique..hmm..

    Agalloch
    Akercocke
    Atheist
    Blut Aus Nord
    Cynic
    Deathspell Omega (later)
    Enslaved (later)
    Exivious
    Isis (later)
    Mastodon
    maudlin of the Well
Negura Bunget (I guess later I haven't really listened to their early stuff)
    Opeth
    Ulcerate

I'm not that into all of these, but to deny that they're unique would just be retarded.

Sleepytime Gorilla Museum are really unique. Bizarre avant-garde metal/rock, highly recommended.

Gojira are pretty good, but hardly unique. It's so easy to point out their most major influences.

    Demilich
    Wormed
    Ulcerate
    Theory in Practice
    Lykathea Aflame
    Infested Blood
    Ephel Duath
