A World Awakens, the intense second album from Australian progressive metal outfit, DAMNATIONS DAY, will see release through the band's new label home of Sensory Records next Friday. An official video for the album's "The Witness" has been issued through an exclusive premiere at New Noise Magazine.

Offers DAMNATIONS DAY on their new single, "Opening the album A World Awakens with a massive punch, 'The Witness' is the bridge between 'Invisible, the Dead' and 'A World Awakens.' It's tough and heavy but melodic and with its own kind of emotive atmosphere."

View DAMNATIONS DAY's "The Witness" only at New Noise Magazine http://newnoisemagazine.com/premiere-damnations-day-witness-video/.

Also, view the lyric video for title track "A World Awakens" at PureGrainAudio http://puregrainaudio.com/videos/wi...yric-video-a-world-awakens-exclusive-premiere and stream "Colours Of Darkness" at Decibel Magazine http://decibelmagazine.com/blog/2017/2/8/track-premiere-damnations-day-colours-of-darkness.

A World Awakens will see release through Sensory Records on March 24th; preorders are live at https://www.amazon.com/World-Awaken...qid=1487381918&sr=8-2&keywords=damnations+day.

Recorded and mixed by Dean Wells at Wells Productions and mastered by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Kamelot, Wolverine), A World Awakens maintains the raw energy, power, and integrity of their debut while showcasing the bands growth in maturity, honesty and depth of both their musicianship and songwriting. With top-tier performances by vocalist/guitarist Mark Kennedy, brother and drummer Dean Kennedy, and lead guitarist Jon King, with additional strings and bass by Dean Wells, A World Awakens is an album that will have your undivided attention on first listen, and pull you in further on repeat.

Any chance this will show up on amazon, or some other place one can buy a non-itunes digital version?

Just got it today. Not really enjoying it, and I've tried multiple times. It was mostly a blind purchase which is always a bad idea, so I got what I deserved I guess.

I really like this CD. Fills a nice melodic prog metal niche for me. Iooking forward to give it more spins.
