Fans of Daniel from Tesseract who were bummed that he quit the band will be happy to know he sings on the debut Skyharbor album! Cheggit.

This was really cool. Glad that he's doing something else in this direction. Is the album out yet?

Edit: Listening to the album on Spotify. THANK YOU for posting this. Loving this stuff! Prog fans, take notice!

Hmm, "skyharbor"? Maybe they consider this a "tribute" to a certain awesome UM poster, but that doesn't matter. It's much too close for my liking, so they can expect a call from my lawyer. Don't be surprised if you see their next album released under the name "skyharbor OF FIRE".

Anyone else pick this album up? I grabbed it in my last round of buying. Holy shit! It's an experience to me. Definitely headphones quality. I hope he can get more or less the same lineup for some more albums, because I would buy them all with no hesitation.

It's depressing but understandable. The new guy seems like he could be quite good, but I'll hold judgement off till some material meant for him comes out.

New guy doesn't sound bad, but his voice doesn't have the depth/texture/warmth (not sure the exact word I'm looking for) that Dan's does. Also going to reserve judgement til more comes out. I'm a big Skyharbor fan, so I can't imagine not liking any of their new stuff, even if the new guy is a small step down.

Not exactly ProgPower but Daniel Tompkins (Tesseract, Ex-Skyharbor) is releasing a new album under the Zeta moniker with two others. Think retro 80's night drive synth pop with some guitar grooves. Some of you may enjoy...
