Just saw this on Blabbermouth and I thought that it might be of interest to some of you guys. Sounds like he's giving up drumming altogether. If that's so, it's a shame. But all the best to Dave in the future and good luck with the baby! http://www.blabbermouth.net/news.aspx?mode=Article&newsitemID=182708
What true musician sells his instrument? [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l8BRbM52gpc&fmt=18[/ame]
yeah, it's a bit of a shame he had to go this route. but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes
I will second that thought. My brother is a musician. People have lumped music into the same soup as all other digital information, ignoring how music is made. While this is true of a lot of other types of digital info, I think the music industry (along with journalism) has been hurt the most.
That's sad. He seemed like a cool dude, took time here to shoot the shit with us and share his mom (literally haha). I hope this isn't the end of his musical career. Maybe he'll pull a Dan Swano and make music on his own?
seems to me like someone who is unable to take responsibility for his own decisions. if you move to another country based on someone else's hunch, you yourself are just as much the idiot.
The guy has the talent and skills to play whatever he wants and I think he should play, at least work on studio. I honestly think he got dissapointed of the music 'business' a bit too early and made a decision that probably will change in the future, unless he's too stubborn.
