Eh... can't say the new AA track impressed to much, I was sitting here the whole time wondering why I'd stopped Morrigan.

Still looking forward to the full album though. :p

it strikes me as funny that people would rather write off an album as shitty before it ever comes out, then just assume that hey maybe they didnt pick the best track to release.

If we didn't judge everything immediately we wouldn't be metal fans.

It's a bad way to market yourself if you put out a mediocre track ahead of an album's release. You can't count completely on fan loyalty.

Odds are they didn't create a great album and decide to release the one shit track in advance. Even if every other track was slightly better than this it would still be a waste to bother with. I'm not just bashing them, I like Amon Amarth, but they have to do way better than that.

I haven't listened to the track yet, but did Amon Amarth actually try to sound different on this album?

I liked the first track on Ruminations a bit, but not much else. The outro track is so retarded.:p

Odious Mortem is great technical death metal. I don't know much experimental death metal though, try the other metal genres for that.

Well I was asking because someone offers all their three cds on aukro.cz. Unfortunately for you he doesn't accept sending cds internationally so you'll have to look elsewhere.

Just listened to the new Amon Amarth song. Not bad at all, guitars sound great.

Can't wait to listen to the whole thing.

^The promo songs sound really good, they are much more aggressive then anything on With Oden On Our Side. Can't wait for the full release.
