Getting signed to victory records didnt help their death metal image either... Really they did a good job with their remaster of Skin the Living...

Also the fact that we're just drowning in old-school death metal of every flavor. I suspect some people may see them as part of that trend the way Bloodbath sometimes get lumped in with the retro-Swedish stuff.

Haven't been excited about a death metal band in loooong time. Been absolutely entranced (by the wolfshook) by these guys for months. This set is ridiculous. Dat vocal reverb.

I was right up front for that. It was fucking insane. They're one of the few hyped bands that actually deserves all of the praise being lavished upon them.

Yes. Copied and pasted from Facebook: Unaussprechlichen Kulten's newest album, Baphomet Pan Shub-Niggurath, will be out on compact disc through Dark Descent and vinyl via Iron Bonehead.

The new Emptiness album, Nothing But the Whole out on Dark Descent, is fantastic, weird, creepy, surrealistic death metal. Loving it!

Haven't been keeping up with this thread so I don't know if this has been mentioned, but I've been really liking Wretched a lot. Cranial Infestation has been on repeat for me. Really solid tech death
