    I'm looking for some really tragic, despair laden doom bands, stuff along the lines of -

    Virgin Black
    Novembers Doom
    My Dying Bride

    you know the kind of music that i mean..

    Yeah, they have a list of bands on doom-metal.com with descriptions, some of them have downloads too.

    It's unreal, if i had to pick an album that makes you want to kill yourself, that'd be it.

    I downloaded some samples, sounds good, might have to get some albums.

    I've got The Sullen Sulcus (which is really good) and i got some samples of STS and Ataraxie, both sound pretty awesome.

    Lol, never thought of that....
