Is it just me, or is this a "let's all take shots at each other" thread?

It was because Opeth wasn't so popular, therfore there were less people here... The more people join in the more conflicts arise as there are significant differences between us and differences breed conflicts... Plus fights such as n00bs vs OG's or fans of old Opeth and new Opeth (I don't think they changed that much bu people here often claim the opposite) and there ya go

those conflicts were here 3 years ago...after all since 2003 there was only one opeth release and that's GR(considering Lamentations as not a new release because there were no new songs on it)
i guess it was the huge success of GR that got all sorts of trolls in here

Just ignore the trolls, or at least not lose your temper, your wasting your time in that case.

Indeed. Atonement also sounds very Tool-ish (the mellow Tool that is), Mike sounds very much like Maynard.

i don't hear it at all, i like Tool alot but the cds sound nothing alike to me, Dream Theater is a band that uses so Tool grooves, but not Opeth

    Hello Guys!!!
Yeap! I hear Opeth "Ghost Reveries". Tandem of two guitarist Mikael and Peter as bester working then ever. Track calling "Harlequin Forest" my lovely song on top. Autumn feelings bring me nostalgic remembrance, so deep and peacefull.
