    Stick with funeral doom like Skepticism, Thergothon, Until Death Overtakes Me, Pantheist, etc, or go with quality doom/death like Evoken, Morgion, etc.

    Panthiest has a "gayer" sound then My Dying Bride... but I like both.

    Oh and Panthiest definatley has gothic undertones.

    Stuff that doesn't:

    Katatonia
    Tyrnanny
    Evoken

    Ummm most doom is somewhat "gothic" sounding...

    I just hate the old vocalist. Not a growl, not a screatch just a guy with an annoying voice yelling. The new stuff is good, especially Alternative 4.

    you said i woudn't listen like any of the bands becuase i think its depressing i listed bands, that are dark, and not depressing and i know weaking and judas Iscariot are not doom metal, becuase doom metal is gay
