BLOLOLOLOLOL Let me know if you still need to buy a ticket! I just spoke to Harvey, Doro's drum tech. He was asking me what the turn-out might be, since we're playing on fucking SUPERBOWL SUNDAY.. but surprisingly, being the resident ticket-shillers of Northern Virginia, we've sold MORE tickets to this show months in advance than we have for most of our other shows. It's weird, but I'm not complaining!
I don't want to see Doro that late either but that's the Mug for you. She will be getting off 70000 tons of metal Friday and having to drive to Tampa from Miami, but still it's extremely late. Grave was here not long ago and didn't play till two or so in the morning. My buddy said they were not happy. I skip all shows at the Mug on purpose but will go to this one just to see if this is as big a shithole as the other location. lol The last time I went there was 2002 for the Nevermore/Opeth/Angel Dust/God Forbid tour. I remember Nevermore not going on till 2AM, playing for an hour, and then having the power cut off. They were not happy.
its not nearly as shit-holey. still not the orpheum or even state theatre but an improvement, nevertheless. I think the set times will be much much more strict here at this one. I still have not heard of a recent mug show that went past 2:30 or 3..... but who really knows!? lol The way this is set up I imagine DORO on by midnight at least? 1am, pushing it.. hell, I could be wrong too.
You guys are funny boys and girls, and yes, I have been to Disney, pre internet!!!!! I think I was there the first year of EPCOT, that's how damn KVLT I am!!!!!! Maybe its just the venue then. Here in Chicago, shows that late are usually more the black, death, and doom shows. Most power metal shows get out when the sun is still shining.
Funny thing is that's probably his shiny white ride behind him that he will jump into after scamming the common folk..........
It should be the case. They're starting the show pretty early so there's no reason to assume it will go on too late. I still don't even know if any other bands are playing besides us 3, so we'll see what happens! XD
I was just there this past Sat to see Helstar.. It moved, its a bit nicer than the old Mug,sound system is better. So you are going to be skipping Sabaton the next night then(the 2nd?)
