    Hey all,

I've been into drum mixing lately and I can obtain a nice drumsound that sits well in the mix but I just heard the new Circle Of Contempt teaser and I'm really digging that (compressed) drum sound.

    At 0:09:

    Another example:

I'm guessing this is done with a lot of compression/EQ and parallel compression?

Is it possible to make Superior Drummer sound like this? I think both bands are actually using Superior Drummer (with TMF prolly). I'm not looking to copy the exact sound, just interested.

    Any help is appreciated. :)

In fact I suspect that these drums are metal foundry. Just search for ''kits of doom'' in the recent posts. This should give a starting point.

You're right man, I'm listening to a demo it sounds almost alike (the Circle of Contempt one). Gonna look at the preset to see what the "trick" is. ;)

    Thanks man. :headbang:
