Negative feedback has fucked my previous 100% postitive feedback rating. A neautral rating used to have no impact on 100% positive feedback, now it is part of the equation which means if you have 99 positive feedbacks, 1 neutral and 0 negative, you will have a rating of 99% positive, which gives people the impression there was a NEGATIVE experience. In my case, a seller quoted $100 postage on an item in the auction and we verified this through the ebay PM system. When the auction ended, they discovered it would actually cost them $300 to send and we decided not to proceed with the transaction and neutral feedback was left. It irks me.
It is also fucked if they don't pay at all even after reminders and a dispute being done and waited upon. There is nothing a seller can do to warn others they are not a payer all the time.
along with the no negative feedback for buyers (old news i know) this is nailing ebay i reckon, maybe not financially, but i 4 1 are quitting it, mainly coz of the no neg feedback for buyers, its just shit. I mean how easy is it going to be to deliberately be a bad or dodgy buyer with no way to tell, and fucking paypal only, tightass cunts.; Paypals shit and all.
On further investigation the ACCC today said that it was a no go and that Ebay was not allowed to go ahead with that and will now be taking action.
