"...Simone Simons (vocalist) comments on the EP: : "During the early writing process of 'The Holographic Principle', we found out that we were blessed with a huge amount of songs. The songs that didn't fit on our album are now available for you on this special EP! I hope you guys will enjoy these songs as much as we do!"

I don't like when bands do this -- but, The Holographic Principle was so good that I'm inclined to do so ....... I feel that when bands do this, we are getting the leftovers of a great disc - and we probably are - but in Epica's case, the songs should be good enough to release on an EP.

Soilwork did that a few years ago, and I loved the EP they put out.

Saw opening night in Boston, best EPICA show I've seen in ages. Lacuna Coil and Insomnium were great as well.
