Isn't that like just your day job that you're really worried about? ;)

So now that you have the support of ESP behind you, in future O/S tours, will you be leaving your ax at home and just using a local ESP for shows, or will the new custom(s) be going around the world too?

Well I wont answer directly for Tim, but why would he get a custom guitar and then just go and use stock models? I mean, he's getting a custom put together for a reason :p

Of course, Tim can say otherwise! haha

    What Andy said! :)

I have a really hard time using a guitar without the pickup switch where I like it for a start, which is why I'm getting the mods done to mine before I get it, but even aside from that, I'd be missing the strap-locks and the action may be set up vastly different to how I like it, or different gauge strings than I prefer, or even the guitar that I get may have some damage or defect that I'm not used to (as much as the build quality of high-end ESPs is excellent, there's always a margin for error on any instrument made), so bringing my own guitar along on tour is the only way to go.

Cool, fair enough. I think the action thing would bother me the most.

Nah, the trick is to play reeeeaaaallllyy fast so you don't notice all the notes are wrong! ;) HAHA!

I tell you what, I should really warm up and put some thought into what I'm doing before I do another one of those videos. My fingers are killing me now and there were some really dubious note choices in there! HAHA! Oh well!

Pretty sweet video. Were all those backings from Ascendence? I could have sworn I heard some I hadn't heard before...

Doesn't sound half bad until you realize 213 of them were me trying to tab what LT was playing!!

    (not)

EDIT: LT I'm gonna have to fine you for three counts of excessive left hand motion blur....

It's up to over 470 views now and is #9 in the most watched Aus musician videos today, which is pretty cool! :)

It's funny, when I was putting that stuff down I was thinking "meh... I really should have warmed up properly before I did this so I could play faster" but listening back, it's like "woah, that was actually fairly quick!" HAHA!

Very nice Tim, your new guitar turned out awesome mate, can't wait to have a good look at it up close soon.

Started with the Duncans eh? What is in there? JB & 59?

Also, the studio looks amazing behind you mate.
