One of the organizers, said they're coming to Europe this fall, in late october, november. I don't know the support.
As always, it is not confirmed by the band yet so I would suggest beeing careful with that But if it is true, that means this is a headlining tour with a real full lenght gig??
The other two bands aren't too successful so the chances are good that DT will be headlining (I hope).
Oh damn, I feel a Denmark (Vader + ProgPower Scandinavia) + Germany (Primordial and Dark Tranquillity) trek calling my name.
That does not constitute a European tour as there is not a single UK date Next time they do come to the UK, I am going to be attending every single one of the gigs, finances permitting
The "european" Tour has been startet at http://www.kartenhaus.de are two german Dates were you can buy your tickets. =o) Greetings, Mo
Berlin, Hamburg, München, Stuttgart and Köln are on the official list. http://www2.centurymedia.com/index.aspx?page=tour&id_artist=13 Seems to be the same list that was posted here by killermilk.
i wonder why oncerts always have to be during the week. if DT is headlining, i have to spend the night in some pub after the concert, because the last train i can take leaves at midnight... and then i cant go to classes the next day. i hope they will play first actually, so that i can still come back at home! someone know the other bands that are touring with DT? i hope its nothing like Chimaira... it was annoying having to look at them first... then half of the crow left for DT
Whine some more while you're at it! They should be headlining, doubt anyone's ever heard of Fear My Thoughts and Poisonblack isn't that big either. Certainly hope so, longer set that way.
Yes, it's a headline tour. Finally we'll get the chance to deliver a full length set with a proper stage show as opposed to playing for 30-45 minute with inferior lights, limited stage space, no access to the full PA system and all other restrictions that support bands often have.
And as i mentioned above, I don't believe this can constitute a European tour when it does not include the UK? Will you guys be making a specific UK tour afterwards like with the first Fiction tour? Cheers Niklas, Dan
Semantics. It's easier to call it "Europan tour" than "European tour minus the UK and some other countries". ;-) We're always open to playing everywhere, but there are logistical and financial aspects to everything. We've done more UK shows the past year than in all the other 18 years combined, and it's still a hard market for us. In order to finally do a headline tour with the production we want, our booking agent had to focus on markets were we have more of an audience. Sorry if being blunt, but it's how it works. Hopefully we can do another UK run again soon, but it's not really up to us.
Yes, stop calling it a European tour. Greece is not included. Call it "Tour of the crushed tomatoes" instead. Or something..
no tomatoes for me or peeps from the USA as Federal health officials haven't yet traced the source of salmonella-tainted tomatoes
