The Jester Race is a fine album, but the vocal recording is for shit...it takes away from it...I would love for someone to somehow remaster it while improving the vocal track.

The Jester Race with no question.
The best thing in The Jester Race is the vocals emo. If they remaster ANYTHING now they'll turn it into pussy love song shit with fucked up vocals. So they better keep everything the way it is.

Whoracle. For the first few years of being an In Flames fan, The Jester Race was always my favorite. But I eventually began to appreciate Whoracle a little bit more. It just has a certain atmosphere to it that makes it very unique. I appreciate their mid-tempo songs moreso than the faster songs that they've grown more fond of writing. And I really like Anders' vocals on this album. They're much more refined than they were on The Jester Race. As I'm listening to "The Hive" right now, it's really hard to believe that this is the same singer who's been on the last few In Flames albums. I don't think I've ever heard such a transformation of a singer's voice in the metal world.

The Jester Race is probably my most CLASSIC favorite, but I picked Reroute To Remain because it has the most GOOD songs on it than on any other album. The whole thing is so good the whole way through. And when I first bought it in 2002, I couldn't even get into it the first few times I listened to it. You can always tell that means it's going to be a great album. At least to me anyways.

I knew that In Flames would never top Clayman again, cos they reach the top with it.There's no way higher than it.

Clayman is probably the worst album in the 1990-2000 era. It just has 3 or 4 really good songs and the rest are just fillers.
