Melancholic poppish stuff, been playing it over and over these past´days. It had actually ended up at the bottom of a pile of cds that needs proper listen (many of which never gets it), then I was reading this interview where he said most people would probably be sort of bored with his album the first 6 or 7 listens, but after that he hoped most people could get sth out of it. He was right, funny that, exactly how it was, first listen I thought nice enough, nothing special.

He got named "best rock hope" or sth rock at the awards here, his reply was that he guessed they hadn't really listened to his album cause it wasn't rock.

I've been listening to Eternal from Samael almost religiously these days. I didn't care much for it when it was released though.

I guess I'll like Reign of Light in another 5 or 6 years then.

True that is sounds a bit like Eternal, but the vibe is completely differant.

Eternal has a nice, dark sound to it. More density to it.

    RoL sounds too fucking optimistic.

I'd prefer it if you liked good albums

I was bothering this dude wearing a Dimmur Borgir (or?) shirt all night, did he deserve it?
