    after they had played ABBA, this old lady (around 70 I'd guess) called and said:
    - I do not want to hear this crap! you play too wimpy music! now give me some real fuckin Frank Zappa!

    I cracked me up, so damn unexpected.

    I definitely agree with the Explosions in the Sky and Mono.

    But what abooot Isis? Too heavy?

    Anyone heard of Boris? Their Flood album is quite brilliant.

    I love post rock, but I've honestly never really paid attention to guitarists or individual instrumentalists in post rock bands. Though after seeing Sigur Ros live, Jonsi definitely is worth a mention. He's one of the few people I've seen play a guitar using a bow without it becoming gimmicky. Actually, the only person!
