These guys hail from the UK as a post rock influenced black metal band.
They remind me of Agalloch in some respects, but focusing more on the post rock sounds rather than the neo-folk, like Agalloch is known for.
I really enjoy this album, its a great way to start the year for me.

My band ORCumentary actually opened for both Agalloch and Fen late last year. Not really a fan of either of them though.

That's too bad, Orc. Both Fen and Agalloch are amazing in my opinion. Fen continues to put out quality work, whose sound is derived from that aforementioned band from Oregon.

I LOVED The Malediction Fields and I don't know why but I stopped following up on them after that. Weird, but I guess after around 2010 or so, I stopped caring about black metal as much.

I've heard some people say good things about this band, but I don't get it. They have about as much energy as JoAnn's Fabrics.

Yeah but they're not an energetic band and never were so you kind of have to be in the mood for post rock oriented black metal.

Energy =/= upbeat. Slow bands can have an 'energy' to them. Plenty do. Call it spirit, heart, power, or whatever buzzword you want to use.

Well, it's definitely not for everyone and I'm not the biggest fan of them either. I am kind of enjoying the tracks OP posted so I think I'm gonna buy the new album.
